Kanban Board

The Kanban board gives you a visual, column-based view of your backlog. Each column represents a status, and cards within a column show the items in that status.

Opening the Kanban Board

From inside a project, click the Kanban tab or the board icon in the backlog toolbar. You can switch between list view and board view at any time.

Columns

Each column corresponds to a status in the backlog lifecycle:

  • Draft — items not yet ready
  • Ready — items ready to be picked up
  • In Progress — items actively being worked
  • In Review — items awaiting validation
  • Done — completed items (hidden by default)

Showing/Hiding Columns

Click the eye icon next to “Done” to toggle its visibility. Hiding Done keeps the board focused on active work.

Moving Items

Drag and drop a card from one column to another to update its status instantly. The change is saved automatically and reflected in the list view.

Card Information

Each Kanban card shows:

  • Item title
  • Type icon
  • Priority indicator (colour-coded dot)
  • Story point estimate (if set)
  • Label chips

Click a card to open its full detail page.

Horizontal Scrolling on Mobile

On narrow screens, the board scrolls horizontally. Swipe left/right to reveal additional columns. Each column has a minimum width so cards remain readable on phone screens.

Reordering Within a Column

Drag cards up or down within a column to change their relative priority. This order is shared with the list view.
